WMG’s Copyright Rampage [IGNORE THE UMG STUFF, THIS WAS MADE IN SEPTEMBER]

READ THE INFORMATION BELOW! READ THE INFO BELOW This is my opinon about what UMG is doing. I’ll probably get suspended for voicing my opinion about the all mighty Universal Music Group. (Thanks to Dee for the information below) Okay WOW NO one is understanding what this is, so I’m gonna make this a LOT clearer: UMG is NOT a Record Company; they’re on my Maroon 5 CD listed as “Universal Music Distribution”. When the CD first came out, and I made “Wake Up Call”, the Record Company owned the Copyrights to ALL the songs on that CD: their name is Octoscope Music LLC, and THEY held the Copyrights with Maroon 5; THAT is why UMG could NOT remove my video cuz I made “Wake Up Call” 6 months BEFORE Universal Music GROUP bought the Copyrights to all the songs on this CD, SO, they could only place an ad (if Octoscope had a YT account THEY could have removed my video but they don’t!!). SO NOW: if you make a video and use a song that UMG OWNS the Copyright to at the time that you make the video, THAT’s when the vid is blocked by UMG and every other Copyright owner on YT cuz they PAY YT to be in a Partnership, and they PAID the record company to get this: © next to their name!! SO, WE technically broke Copyright Laws by NOT asking permission to use their song AND their lyrics FIRST before posting the videos (and sometimes the LYRICS are owned by someone else!!), BUT, let’s face it, does anyone seriously think they’d say “Yes” to a bunch of kids like us?
