I run my own music teaching studio, and rent a small space in a local music store. I recently added a program to my curriculum that the owner of the store has conflicting interests with. I could sustain renting my own space in another area to run my piano teaching from, and could make more money with this new program approx. 1200.00 more per month. However, the local university also wants to hire me to run this program from its location at a 73% 27% rate from tuition with me getting the higher percent. This means that they do all the advertising for me, and I use their facility. I would have to sign a contract with them that I teach this program directly through them. Which would you choose? Would you move your whole studio and start your own thing with this newly integrated program, or would you stay where you are and contract to run this program at the university?

tough question but you got to follow your heart. i’m an entrepreneur all the way through and i personally what 100% control. Thats just me though. if you need financial help, heres a little piece of advise… i pay rent too… sometimes my cash flow is tight. i found a site where you can pay rent with a credit card. www.ricochetaps.com
