When you get a degree in Music Management and Merchandising, do you get to manage bands?

Question by Allison: When you get a degree in Music Management and Merchandising, do you get to manage bands?
I really want to manage bands after I get out of college and I have been researching a lot lately and found Music Management and Merchandising and I know that it is a lot of the behind the scenes stuff but I’m not sure if it is managing bands.

You can do whatever you want- I am in the process of opening a talent agency and athletic recruiting agency. I have 5 weeks of college experience, college means nothing! Just offer great representation and customer service- the key to life.
