I am buying a rtw ticket for next June and would like so spend several months working in all while on a gap year. I will be 28 and will have a foundation degree in Music and new media management. before these studies I was a stone mason for 6 years and run my own granite kitchen worktops company for the last four of those years.

The best option for you would be the Working Holiday Visa ( http://www.workingholidayexpo.com ). It’s generally designed for people between 17 – 30 who want to see the world and have a bit of fun. Your stay should be half work half sight seeing. It’s really designed for short stays (2 years is the maximum) but you don’t need any major skills or to be a student to qualify. Just flash your bank balance.
As a British citizen you would qualify for it. However, the irritating thing would be applying to 3 seperate countries for it as you would need one for Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
