Question by courtney m: What should I major in if I want to work in the music industry?
I’m trying to start my college planning since I’m now officially a Senior in high school. I really want to work in the music industry, but I don’t know exactly what I want to do. Really, I want to do it all, talent management, production, studio management, public relations, client relations, anything. I’d be happy just to be working for a concert or promotion company, or a record label. But either way, once I settle down, I want to open up my own venue/nightclub and I don’t even know if that has requirements of it’s own. So if there’s anyone out there who does something similar to what I want to do, some guidance would be fantastic!

Broadcasting might be a good match for you. It’s heavy in production work. i hope you’ve picked a minor as well. if your good with math think about accounting so you always have something to fall back on.
