what schools are good for me?

Question by Scђäfεя LisтïɳGღ: what schools are good for me?
my GPA is 2.81 unweighted, 3.2 or3.3 weighted, my ACT score was a 24 i have yet to take my SAT’s but i was in a few school clubs and didn’t do a whole lot of community service but i am doing it this year(final year of high school!!) anyway i have taken honors and ap classes all four years of high school…i want to go to a really good music business school that offers internships and maybe even study abroad

any ideas on what schools i could get accepted to? thank you!
i would like to go to a school that is located by any type of record label or something like that…i was thinking about ferris state university which is in michigan but they said that they offer internships at places in chicago and new york…

There are several items that need to be sorted out first before you can narrow down school choices. First, do you want to stay close to home or go to school in another state? Second, what can you (or your parents) afford? Third, after going to several schools and narrowing down your choices, ask “Will I have success here?” In other words, make sure it’s the best fit for you.

Since I live in California, I can tell you USC has a very good business school that could have music connections. However, it’s very very expensive. Another good business school is Arizona State (ASU), but it may not have “music business” as an option. CSUN (Cal State Northridge) also has a good business school and, being in the LA area, would allow for music internships and may be a cheaper option than USC.
