I make my own music at home and it is very good. I would like to do it professionally and make a name for myself. I will be starting college soon and music is what I like,but unfortunately people in my area know nothing about careers in music production. Please send me your knowledge on this subject ,and by helping me, in the future I could help you.

Producers are self-employed, so you don’t need a degree.
If you want to gain experience working for an established producers, learn more instruments and study electrical engineering or computers.
Personally I think you should get a degree in something real like poly-sci, econ or history, and do music on the side, so you’ll be able to get a job in the corporate world if music decides to break your heart.
