im going a biography essay on Kelly Clarkson & i need help coming up with a thesis statement for my intro paragraph:
What does it take to be a successful singer/songwriter? You have to be confident. Kelly Clarkson moved to Los Angeles in hopes of getting a recording contract from a music industry. You also have to be independent. Clarkson wanted her album ‘My December’ to be all of her own songs. _______(thesis statement here)_______.

Not sure what you could use given that intro.
It would be way easier if your points weren’t in the introduction:
To many, it seems as though singers and song-writers in the music industry have it all. Glamor, fashion, fame; they are living the life others can only dream of. But in reality, their lives aren’t quite so simple. Kelly Clarkson, perhaps one of the most world-renowned singers and song-writers is easily a perfect example of this. Singers and song-writers, such as Kelly Clarkson need to be confident and independent in order to achieve success.
You could change your introduction to that? Other than that, I can’t really see how you could get a specific thesis with those main points in your introduction… Good luck.
