Can some one please tell me the best way to get a record deal. I’ve worked hard and I have recorded this song in the studio and it’s finally finished. Is it a good idea and will I get noticed?

Rarely do record labels accept unsolicited material… the best thing you could do depending on your genre of music is try to get it out yourself. Start doing shows, network, put it online (myspace, etc..) get a cd pressed of the song (s) and just get it out and in people’s ear.
