RIP Fat Beats – J57 Interview From The Archives – ACT:LIVE MUSIC

In September of 2009, we had the pleasure of meeting J57 of The Brown Bag All Stars, an indie music producer who has worked his way from the bottom up, in his field. He’s signed to Balanced Records and is in one of the nation’s premier hip-hop groups, Brown Bag All Stars. The group, founded at Fat Beats, NYC, while they all held internships and then management positions, has reached international credibility and looks to be one of the number one acts to look out for in the near future. It was our pleasure to meet J57 and the crew, as we are all still friends and continue business to this day. Cheers to all of our homies in NYC and especially Pedro, J57, Soul Khan, E Holla, DeeJay Element, Eclipse, Audible Doctor, Marink and Koncept whom all made our stops in, something to look forward to…every time. We’re gonna miss you, Fat Beats.
