Over nearly 30 years, they’ve gone from being America’s single most influential band to a has-been group trading on past glories, to reach the 21st century as one of the most respected rock acts of their era. For the first half of the 1970s, the Allman Brothers Band was the most influential rock group in America, redefining rock music and its boundaries. The band’s mix of blues, country, jazz, and even classical influences, and their powerful, extended on-stage jamming altered the standards of concert performance — other groups were known for their on-stage jamming, but when the Allman Brothers stretched a song out for 30 or 40 minutes, at their best they were exciting, never self-indulgent. They gave it all a distinctly Southern voice and, in the process, opened the way for a wave of ’70s rock acts from south of the Mason-Dixon Line, including the Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Blackfoot, whose music, at least initially, celebrated their roots. Arhythmia is a italian alternative metal/hardcore band formed in 2004 in Alghero, Sardinia. Since the early years the band has always had an intense live activity, opening concerts for various big groups of the Italian scene and not , and participating in numerous local and regional context, always finishing at the top. In 2006 they won the “Sardinia Rock Contest”, in front of more than 50 bands from throughout the region. In 2008 they released their first self-produced album, “Noize Room”, recorded and mixed by AL Studio Audio. The CD registered a great success in the underground scene and was positively reviewed by the local press and by various national fanzine. In the same year the band signed a contract with the Agency Booking & Management ALKEMIST Fanatix Europe, increasing its visibility. Afterwards the band begins the pre-production of the new album, entitled “Awake”, produced, recorded and mixed in the Real Sound Studio at Parma (ed. Wahoomi Corvi) and mastered at Spectre’s Studio in New York. The sound of Arhythmia, characterized by the different influences coming from each one of the 5 members, can be described as modern metal, aggressive and direct, sometimes broken by robust melodies. The strong impact is one of the prerogatives of their live, always brutal and engaging.
