Q&A: Licensing music for a presentation, do I need to do it?

Question by rptut: Licensing music for a presentation, do I need to do it?
I want to have background music in a Keynote presentation. I already bought the songs on iTunes. Do I need to get any additional permissions or licensing if I’m not posting the presentation publicly and am not selling it? It is for work, but it will be a presentation I show once to a group of people and that’s it.

Thanks

If you show it to a group of people for pay or for free, you need to license it.
