Question by Digital Age: How do you make an employer pay you?
I did some freelance work, on a verbal agreement not a contract, to work on a film crew making a music video and I haven’t been paid. They ignore my reminder notices. What recourse do I have? Small claims court?

if you’re only considering legal options – yes

if that’s the course you choose then you’ll want to find out what assets this ’employer’ owns and have the court attach a lien to said items.
