Q&A: how do i make this big life decision?

i’m in a situation where i have to make an important decision. im a forth year uni student who’s been trying quite hard to get a degree. Also, I’m a musician (guitarist) and have been contributing songs for indie movie producers/directors. about a week ago, i was performing at a local pub and there was a movie director and his co-workers having a drink and found one of my songs good enough to be on a compilation album which they’ve been working on and they said they wanted me to work for them. the thing is i have to give up on my degree if i sign a contract with them as professional music production is not as easy as something you can do while studying at uni, or vice versa, i wouldn’t be able to study if i take this opportunity. i love music of course but it’s a risky business. i’m totally confused. i need some advice. thx

Go for it!! This is probably a once in a life time opportunity. If you do need to quit school, you can always go back.
