Q&A: How can a talented 13 year old singer get into the music business?

Question by Thomas: How can a talented 13 year old singer get into the music business?
I don’t mean to boast, but i have a brilliant singing voice and i have sang with professionals already but i’d be interested in taking it a step further and maybe eventually getting into the music business. I’m basically trying to be the next Justin Bieber or Lance Bass (probably not going to happen but you get the point!)

i know how u feel. TRUST ME. im 13 too. and i have been asking the same question. and i too want to be the next big thing. after all i have reserched and stuff. i know it will be HARD work.
i found out that u have to:
1. have a vocal teacher
2. get heard.
now, by getting heard, i mean writing to record companies, posting videos, and looking for somone to listen to your singing that can help. and, u have to keep trying. because im not gonna lie. there are gonna be some rejections. but that means you have to try harder to show them that u ARE ment to be a singer. and dont worry about writng your own songs. justin bieber didnt! and look how he turned out! hahaha. and, even though u might have a great voice, u still can probably impove. so you are probably gonna have to pracice 4 days a week. trust me, its time consuming but i know that u AND me will try hard. and we WILL be the next big thing. and u never know, maybe u and i can do a song together! well, i wish u THE BEST of luck. wish ME luck also! haha. hope i helped.
