Q&A: Do I owe former band money if no contracts were signed?

Question by Jerry N: Do I owe former band money if no contracts were signed?
I am distributing MY songs for sale, that I own the rights to. They were recorded in a home studio and no contracts were signed with my former band-mates. Would I legally have to pay them a share of any profits made?

yes. you can rerecord the songs without them since they dont own the rights to the songs, but since they perform, you would owe them.
