I’m trying to work with a music producer. The only thing is I’m young and I’m obviously just starting out. I do NOT have a production budget at ALL. What type of agreement would seem legit to me and the producer, without him thinking I’m getting over on him. He’s really great and I think we would make good work. Are there specific types of agreements that already have a legal name? Or do i just sound really unprofessional and ask him can we do everything, and then when we make profit he’ll be paid? I REALLY do not think that is even acceptable. PLEASE HELP =/

hey,
Not that you sound unprofessional but unexperienced.
really he should have the details for you if he is a professional seeking talent. He will work on and trust that he will help you to make it big, and know that he will make profit on you.
Its almost like a business on your own, you have to invest a little, and its going to be or should be out of your pocket at first but if you are good you will and should make your money back.
Start small, record cost for time and studio. and let him market you.
then he gets paid.
