So here is the deal – I have been a part of some very successful underground music projects, and for the past few years I started a new solo thing that is really gaining momentum – the debut record isn’t even out yet and there’s already 20,000 people wanting to pre-order it. The rough mixes have already been licensed to a couple Hollywood films and some documentaries.

I have offers sitting on my desk from over 30 (!!) labels, some of the preliminary contracts are over 400 pages. The bands I was in before always had pre-existing label contracts so I never saw that side. I am completely new to this and feel I need a manager to swim through the sea of offers, but I don’t even know where to begin? Where can I talk to someone about seeking managerial representation?? I am at my wit’s end here! Surely someone else out there has been in a similar situation. Help!

ask your parent to be a manager or something.
or someone you really trust that u know is good at managing stuff…
