Ok, so my boyfriend is into music and is having a concert next month with a well known artist. He is paying him a good chunk of money but in the contract it states that if this artist does not show up my boyfriend still has to pay him the money?!? My man is really concerened about this and it has to be signed today. Any opinions???
I never said he couldnt make the payment! I said that he will still have to pay $ 4000.00 if this artist for some reason can not make it to the show!
So basically if the artist decides he dont want to come then he still wants the money!

He should have consulted an attorney before making an agreement to those terms .
You do not say why he has to perform with this artist if he so concerned about paying him ?
Is there a problem of not being able to make the payment ?
Why try to deal with professional people if you cannot honor the contract ?
