DPW contract The selectmen voted unanimously to accept a new labor contract between the town and the Weston Highway Employees Union Local 1303-41 of CT Council 4 AFSCME AFL-CIO, for the period July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2013.

A three-judge panel in the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis has been established and is considering the National Football League’s request for a stay of a district judge’s ruling that ended the six-week lockout of its players.
