Biography. Talented, Singer-songwriter Jimena is embarking on a new chapter in her musical career. Jimena has received a very broad arts education. She began her vocal training at the early age of 14 years old, studying classical singing music, although she is a pop musician. In June 2001, Jimena was signed by Cresent Moon Records, a division musical label of Sony records. Her first album “JIMENA” included 10 songs, seven of which were composed by her. The single “Maldita Ignorancia” was released in three versions, and reached the first places in the music charts. In 2003 signed a contract with Univision Records. Her second album “EN SOLEDAD”. The first single from the album “En Soledad” reached quickly the number one position in the lists of Billboard Latino. Along with Gloria Estefan wrote the song “Te Esperare” which was also very well received. She has also been nominated several times to Premios Lo Nuestro in 2004 as Artist Revelation and in 2006 as singer of the year, sharing nominations with Paulina Rubio, Laura Pausini and Julieta Venegas. Jimena has led her shows to numerous key locations, including Madison Square Garden, Miami Arena, Staples Center in Los Angeles and Chicago Arena among many others sharing the stage with artists such as: Juan Gabriel, Marco Antonio Solis, Juan Luis Guerra, among others. Jimena was the guest of honor in 2005 in Washington, being invited by President George W. Bush to sing at the White House. The album, entitled “VOLAR SIN ALAS

Peter Greenaway, CBE born 5 April 1942 is a Welsh-born English film director. Peter Greenaway was born in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales, and grew up in Essex, England. His family left South Wales when he was three years old. At an early age Greenaway decided on becoming a painter. He became interested in European cinema, focusing first on that of Bergman, and then on French Nouvelle Vague film-makers such as Godard, and most especially Resnais.
