My boyfriend and I are high school sweethearts, and have been dating for 4 years. We’re both in college but I’m trying to find my way in music and theatre. I know how hard it is to make it, and my backup plan is book publishing, and music, theatre and publishing companies are all the biggest in New York. Last June I moved to Orlando in hopes of making some progress with my life there, but I missed my boyfriend so much that I moved home. After college I’m really seriously considering moving to New York, but my boyfriend said “it’s not for me.”
He’s going to school to be a cop, and other than that he really has no plans. He thinks I’m being selfish, but I kind of feel the same about him. I know it will hurt really bad to let go of him..but I’m not about to give up my dreams and my entire future for someone who doesn’t support me or doesn’t love me enough to give moving a try??? …I hate this.
