The equipment for setting up a basic music studio runs between $ 15,000-20,000. Then you also need a sound proof room, a good a/c unit because the equipment gets rather hot.
There are numerous vendors that sale the equipment, you can check out their products on line, just remember that the on-line price often does not include installation cost and equipment training.
