I understand what outsourcing is, the benefits, the risks, etc. But what are the steps the company needs to take to outsource manufacturing operations. This would be for a simple consumer product (think small gabage bags) that requires stitching on elastic band? Fees, contracts, information on production runs, shipping, storage…anything would help.
