The question is really about how to start a business… there are many things to consider.

Being an “agent” for other artists involves contracts (lawyer)
Are you going to build a studio ? or rent other studio space to have your artist record? what is your distribution marketing going to look like ? ~ how are you going to market your artists ?

Ask your parents if there is someone in their lives that has started and built a company. If yes ~ go and interview that person and talk to them about your idea in confidence. A good mentor in your life right now would be wonderful for you.

Study closely and do research (in depth) about a record label that you find interesting. See what worked for them and what didn’t work for them.

Ask your artist friends what they would expect of you as the record label company in representing them.

Love your enthusiasm ~ don’t let anyone extinguish it. There is great need for talented artists to be represented well.
