a known producer probably wont work with you unless you have some amazing talent. i’m sure you think you do, but your probably don’t. make your own demo. better yet, make your own album, then sell it. sending demos to record companies isn’t really the way to go anymore. any talentless jackass with a computer can (and do) make a demo to send to a label. most labels don’t even listen to demos because 99.9% of them are trash. record your own album, perform shows, and start selling your album. if you can show that you sell tickets and records, then the labels will come find you. you can’t just sit around sending demos all over the place and think you are going to get a record deal, because chances are you wont. make music, and let your music speak for itself. also, if you are making money with your records you can negotiate a better contract down the road instead of being ripped off by your label like most new artists
