Do you think Hip Hop has evolved? Is it better, worse, or indifferent?

My reasoning, Hip Hop is in need of better Promotion, Production, and Management. There is a lot of Really Positive Hip Hop music, and artists(not all rappers), that just don’t get promoted like the cursing, dissing, booty shakers, and idiot rhyme makers are given.
It was once said by Jay Z that a lot of artist who are REAL lyricists dumb down their lyrics for their fans. They add idiotic hooks, beats and naked dancers to their videos just to sell records.

Has Hip Hop gone to the dogs?

Hip Hop is alive, it has devolved to the 80’s dance music but with more cussing and bitches and money and guns and gangs!

I still have hope because rappers like Fiasco are a great influence on rap
