Do music producers NEED to have publishing deals just like songwriters?
Question by Bhavani: Do music producers NEED to have publishing deals just like songwriters?
Also I want to know if it’s necessary for a music producer to have a manager if they already have a publishing deal.

Hey its always best for you to have a manager . Manager basically sets everything up for you , and tells you what to do , you need a good manager not someone of craigslist who dosent know whats good for you or bad for you .
Its also recommended to have a contract with no matter what you doing . Its always the artists that get screwed over , not receiving money or credit
If you had a manager he would set it all up for you .
good luck
