Dave Demay can be contacted through his website www.SongCityStudios.com. Dave has lived in Nashville, TN since the mid 80’s. He is a seasoned producer, recording artist, musician, engineer, songwriter, and vocal coach. Dave is also co-owner in his studio business Song City Studios. His mother, Shirley Webb, of the Webb Family Quartet, was a member of the Grand Ole Opry during the 50’s. His aunt, June Webb, performed and traveled with Roy Acuff as a member of His “Smokey Mountain Boys”, and was married to Buddy Killin, who at one time owned some of the Beatles catalog, and published “Heart Break Hotel”. Buddy Killin’s publishing company, Tree Publishing, was at one time the largest music publishing company in the world. June Webb had a number one single in the 50’s on Roy Acuff’s Hickory Records. She was also produced by Chet Atkins on RCA records. June and Dave’s mother Shirley, still sing and play beautifully to this day. Dave’s brother Dan Demay is also a well known songwriter in Nashville, and has had songs cut by the likes of Daryl Worley, Tracey Lawrence, Martina McBride, John Michael Montgomery, and many others. Dave’s rich musical heritage, and wide spectrum of abilities, play an inherent and intuitive role in his performances and production work, both on stage and in the studio.
