Singer/Vocalist Name: ______________________________________________ (Print Names) Instrument(s) Played During Gigs:_____________________________________ Band/Group Name: ________________________________________________ Band/Group Manager: ______________________________________________ Herein this Agreement the above named and below signed Band/Group/Manager is the “Employer”, and the above named and below signed Independent Singer/Vocalist is the “Singer/Vocalist”. HENCE, in consideration of the promises, and of the mutual undertakings herein contained, and for other good and valuable considerations, the above named and below signed Singer/Vocalist and the above named and below signed Employer agree as follows: 1. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the above named and below signed Employer hereby engages the above named and below signed Singer/Vocalist as an “Independent Singer/Vocalist” to perform the services set forth herein, and the Singer/Vocalist hereby accepts such engagement. 2. The Singer/Vocalist will perform at the Gigs on the dates and times listed in Appendix “A”. Rehearsals, if any, are as agreed. 3. Breaks are as agreed in the Gig contract with the Promoter, or as agreed by the Employer before the Gig, or as necessary during the Gig. 4. As an individual Singer or Singing Group or a Band, (a.k.a. the Employer), you may/will be auditioning Independent Singer/Vocalists for your concerts, Gigs or Recording Sessions.
The Independent Singer/Vocalists joining you or your Band or Group are not employees, nor partners, nor agents of the Employer, nor of the Production Company nor any other company or person affiliated with the Employer in any manner whatsoever.
Signing this legal music contract the independent Singer/Vocalist is assigning any and all Rights to their performance over to the Employer.
This music contract Agreement between the independent Singer/Vocalist and the Employer is drafted in plain English that is easy to read and comprehend. The music contract Agreement may be filled in on your computer or printed out and filled in later.
