Question by CarpeDiem: CONTRACT AGREEMENT notarized?
My friend wants to take over my lease ASAP on my car but the dealership said it will take 2 months to transfer anything. Is there anyway that we can do a contract agreement between each other and get it notarized or something to that nature so that incase anything should happen, I protect myself. (For example, if he runs off with my car of if gets into a major accident and the title is still under my name) Thank you in advance for the help!

No! The dealer still owns the car. They have to do the transfer
