I heard this song yesterday, courtesy OYEAKD of www.360nobs.com. Funny enough, early this year while i was back in naija, i remember I once heard the song. I’m not sure where exactly, i think it was on my way back from work, but i remember hearing it because it was my first time hearing about Skales. I swear, I’ve always stuck by the mantra that It’s good when your music is promoted properly because it kinda sticks with the audience (Even if the song sucks). That said, I introduce you to Christine Ben Ameh. A bit about Christine Ben Ameh: “Christine Ben-Ameh has an astounding and angelic vocal range, reminiscent of fresh air. Still unsigned, her talent has been one of the most slept on in the past 3 years in Nigeria despite winning a local Jos MTN Talent Hunt in 2005 & the Nokia First Chance Reality Music TV Show in 2007. She was born on October 12, 1986 in Kent, England but grew up in Nigeria. Christine wrote her first song at the age of seven and has not stopped writing ever since. Her musical influences are Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill & Indie Arie. In 2003, immediately after secondary school, she recorded her first demo which didn’t do much for her. She graduated from Uni-Jos with a degree in mass Communications.
