Question by undertaker: Can making youtube covers affect your future career?
I don’t have the time to make my own original songs right now , but I would like to “show off” a bit for family and friends and also maybe see the public reaction to my singing style. But I don’t have the money to buy licenses . Will this affect my chances to sign a contract with a records label in the future ? (a link to an article would be awesome)

Definetley post videos – that’s were some record companies look for new talent – justin bieber although you may hate him was found on YouTube and given a recording contract
it will only open doors to you – nothing you do will close any
