Ive had a passion for music since I started playing insturments in the sixth grade. I love playing my piano. I also have a gift to write songs. How hard is it to become a Music Producer? My plan is to go to school to learn how to produce music. Then start my own recording studio and record label. My first artist being myself. Is it possible to do that coming straight out of college?

Well I rap and make beats so it’s basically the same thing. You can go to a sound arts college and theyr’e usually pretty expensive, but they deal with the studio aspect. So you can come out and know how to mix and master and basically know musical sound, because theyre going to train your ear to work with the latest technology. A cheaper way, is to intern in studios and bring coffee and lunch. It might be free work, but your going to learn. So find out about that. All you have to learn how to do is network and make connections.
