Question by Single New Mommy, 1st due 7-2-10: Am I being PIMPED in this MUSIC deal…?
I am a female rapper (emcee) been doing music since I was 17, Im 26 now. I am working with this guy I met 4 years ago—he initially had been signed to a record label and I basically help support him (he lived wit me off/on, I cooked/cleaned for him, wrote his hooks, rode him around town and let him use my laptop, etc.) well he LEFT me for another chick but ended up getting arrested and going to prison for a year. When he got out (4 months ago) he came crawling back to me—and told me he wanted to HELP me with my music career. So far, I have recorded 4 songs with him. They were done in his make-shift studio in his MOM’s basement (he’s 31 btw) and we used his friends beats. Well, I don’t have money right now to PAY for studio time, beats, production, engineering etc. but he TOLD me he was helping me as a favor and as taking me under his wing—well now that one of my songs has TAKEN off and is getting a lot of buzz—he told me, him and his biz partner were gonna “sell me off” to another record label who may want me, but I never BELONGED to them…and I told him, I wasn’t under any contract but that one should be written up—outlining every ones contributions. I WRITE/COMPOSE all my songs. But I do use their studio/beats—I don’t know what to do from this point…? Help

First of all, you should STOP capitalizing random WORDS in your story, it’s really annoying. Second, yes you ARE getting pimped because this guy seems like a LOSER. Fuk him, get money get PAID ans ditch thos son OF a bitch.
