What behind the scenes jobs are there in the Music business?

Question by Wishing: What behind the scenes jobs are there in the Music business?
I dont sing, but I love Music , mainly chart music , but all kinds really. What types of jobs are there in the music business for people that dont sing, and Is there any schools or online colleges I can study for if there is not a school near me (I’m in Western Canada)
I think I would have problems lifting heavy thngs due to an accident injury , Is there any other place I can explore in the industry besides stage hand , and is it harder to get in , if you are older or female ?

A friend of mine joined the stage hands union. You start out at the bottom of the list and just work your way up to the A list as you get more experience.
