While I do think Bonds has used performance enhancers. . . I am glad everybody isn’t crucifying him anymore. The fact is many many players have used them as well as musicians and other hollywood types. Maybe the whole era needs an asterick but one thing is undeniable. . . Bonds was the best of the asterick generation.
OK folks. . lighten up. . . Barry Bonds IS NOT my hero. I was just curious to see if anybody was going to pick him up. And as far as crucifying him. . . then crucify most professional athletes from this era. . . as well as many actors, actresses and so called musicians. Don’t forget your neighbors and local athletes in high school who have also used steroids. . . and lets not forget the morons in pro wrestling or any of your local gyms! Here is a fact folks. . . all of the people I listed here who used steroids. . . still couldn’t put up the numbers Bonds did or may in the future. Give him some credit for the great talent he does possess. . whether it was aided by drugs or not. And. . . maybe you should start crucifying Roger Clemens’s wife as well. . . she may have very well took steroids!! Do you think she can hit a 95mph fastball because of them? Wise up folks and start treating everybody equal.

If he WANTS to play in 2008, I’m sure any team in the AL would love to pick him up as a DH.
