Question by Matt: Should I make my contracting business an LLC or an S Corporation?
Here’s another issue I’m facing regarding my future business. I thought I had the right idea of forming an LLC, but when I spoke with an attorney briefly over the phone, he said that an S corporation has more tax benefits. I will be the sole owner of my business with one occasional employee. I will be doing residential work (Ex. finishing basements, deck installation, etc.)
