Should record labels take more responsibility for drug addicted artists?
Question by Who Dat: Should record labels take more responsibility for drug addicted artists?
Should the labels who manage people like Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty try to do more to get them back on track? Should they be tougher?
I don’t remember the last time either of the aforementioned artists performed well and they do a disservice to their fans. They are both immensely talented, but they throw the support people give them back in their faces.
Would it be appropriate for the label to drop them as a statement that they don’t condone the use of drugs and expect their artists to show some respect to fans?

no, its not their problem that these ppl dont know whats good for them. all their job is is to get them in the booth and produce a record to make them rich.
