I have called the apartment manger, she gave them a notice explaining the noise rules in the lease agreement. Yet the very next night starting at 10:30 until 3am – techno, rave, and who knows what else is pounding though the walls. I have called the cops (2x’s)- they show up and tell them to turn off the music, but they don’t show up for 2hrs after I have called. I don’t want to have to call the cops every night!
I printed off a copy of the county’s noise ordance and I want to post it at the mailboxes and one personally to their door. Will that get me into trouble? Do you have any other ideas on how to keep the noise down? I am loosing sleep!!!!
I have the phone number of the guys living in the apartment. They asked if I would call them if it got too loud but when I call they don’t hear the phone!

I know it is a pain in the rear, but I’m afraid calling the police repeatedly is the only way to get this to stop. After two or three nights in a row, the police will get fed up with your neighbors and possibly charge them with disturbing the peace.
