Monterey Jazz Festival names new director
A man with a background in business and music has been hired to be the managing director of the Monterey Jazz Festival. Chris Doss, 42, will work on the day-to-day operations of the festival. Tim Jackson, who has led the festival for nearly 20 years, will continue to oversee the musical side.
