I’m aspiring to be a music producer in Japan for Japanese Pop, and I was wondering how I could possibly become such a thing. I understand that in like America (where I live), I would just need to go to a good music school and basically work myself to the top, start with underrated artists, etc. Is this the same with J-Pop? Would they appreciate a caucasian by race (but Japanese by personality) music producer? I feel like they would enjoy having an American on the team because a good amount of J-Pop is influenced by American music, and they also love American music. Any tips or stuff like that is appreciated, but please don’t just tell me that I have no chance at doing this…be positive 🙂 Thanks.

Just start to be DJ in music house somewhere in the night of Tokyo and get popular and famous. Then sell yourself to the music industry.
