Ok, I missed my shot. I would have like to redo it again or simply do something else but we’re already Monday my deadline for the week is usually Monday mornings so I’m already late…

What I want to show here is being choked by telecom companies and, more specifically, Bell. Bell recently decided that they would start charging for incoming text messages. Addind to that, our honorable Jim Prentice, minister or Industry, says "The telecommunications market in Canada is dynamic — choice is available" …and the choices are Telus, Bell and Rogers. Telus decided to charge for incoming text messages as well…that leaves us with Rogers which is a little bit better but not that much…so let’s say I figure Rogers is good enough, what then?

Can’t switch because Bell and all the others are choking us with their contract which they can modify anytime they want (the contract actually says they can modify it anytime they want!!). If we want to get out their contracts, we need to pay the penalty fees which go are about 200$ to 400$ CAN.

Everyone agrees the government/CRTC should get involved but everytime, our honorable Minister of Industry says the market is dynamic and the issue will resolve itself…come on!

Sumitomo Corp., Nippon Sharyo win Sonoma, Calif. contract
The contract price is about $ 57 million for 18 DMUs and includes options for SMART and its partner agencies to purchase up to 146 cars. The delivery of 18 DMUs is scheduled from the end of 2013 through the middle of 2014.
