Do you recognize this song & musician?

Question by lollol: Do you recognize this song & musician?
“As the small Baptist community choir practices in the kitchen of our musician’s mother, the little man crawls between the legs of the singers. Music played an important role in his life before he could even walk. When his father brought home the first radio in 1929, our musician was immediately enthralled. The three-year-old sat in front of the box with the glowing dial for hours, listening to songs from a distant world.

He dreams of making music himself one day. There are opportunities to do so: the family even owns a piano. However, this has been claimed by the older sisters of our musician. Lucy and Thelma have piano lessons and Lucy in particular spends a long time at the instrument practicing her classical music.

Our musician consoles himself with a guitar at the beginning of the 1940s. His school friend teaches him the first chords. However, he will never really forget the egoistical possession of the piano by his sister Lucy. When he gains his first recording contract with the Muddy Water agency he records a song about the sibling rivalry of his youth. During his first performance of the song in 1956, our musician expresses his anger towards his sister Lucy, who never let him play on the piano.”
