Well, i’m a little confused by your question, but I’ll try my best to answer. If you are publishing your work, or a catalog of songs, there won’t be any record label or artist information you need. If you are planning on publishing songs, all you need to do is give yourself a name, design a logo, and get to pitching your songs. There’s no legal documents you need to fill out in order to start exploiting music. If you want to legally copyright your work in terms of lyrics and demo audio, the best way to go is to file the work with the U.S. Copyright Office. It costs $ 40 per song. The cheapest, however, is to put a copy of the song’s lyrics and audio in an envelope and mail it to yourself. DO NOT OPEN IT ONCE YOU’VE RECEIVED IT IN THE MAIL. The purpose for this is if you ever need to proove that you are the copyright owner of an original song, you have the unopened copy of the copyright information with a legal stamp with the date on it.

Again, I was a little confused by your question, but I hope it helped.
