i think belmont university has music business, and some of the southern california schools probably do.

honestly, going to school for music business is a waste of money. there is so much competition in the industry that most people don’t get in and have to do something else. by studying music business you are kind of isolated from other fields. i would seek a more general program and then you’ll have a backup plan.

getting in the music business is about being in the right place at the right time, and knowing the right people. schooling really doesn’t matter at all. granted, if you want to own a record label, you should have an idea how a business is ran and taking business classes would be good for that.

my best advice would be to decide what you want to do within the music business field and contact people in that field for advice. for instance, if you want to work at a record label, contact a label and ask how they got their jobs. most people start out as an intern somewhere getting coffee for people and then working their way up the ranks. you may be able to get an internship without going to school. this would save you a lot of money in the long run.

i would look at business, communications, and entertainment law classes. you can also find books to study on your own.

obviously its your life and all, but from experience with myself and people i’ve known, going to school and spending money usually leads you to debt, and a position you could have gotten without school.

good luck
