I’m a songwriter and I’m interested in making money by licensing my music into tv shows and films. How do I go about getting started in the music licensing business as a songwriter?

I’ve been licensing my music for close to eight years. There are a few different routes you can take to get started. You can develop relationships with music publishers, music libraries or music supervisors. I started by first connecting with a music publisher who liked and supported my music and who was able to successfully pitch my music to music supervisors.
