Aurora Board Mulls Health Benefits for Officials
The Town of Aurora will continue to provide health benefits to its part-time elected officials for at least the 2011 budget year, but the practice may soon end. The Town Board was set to eliminate the benefits at its last meeting, but held off at the request of one official who would like to discuss other options.

Mills Promotes Tourism in Area
Erie County Legislator John J. Mills recently took on the role of tour guide, leading Erie County Executive Chris Collins and Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau President Dottie Gallagher-Cohen on a trip through the 13th Legislative District. The purpose of the trip was to promote tourism in areas located just outside of Buffalo.

The Holland Central School District was the recipient of a federal grant for collecting data on students’ physical fitness and overall activity levels, while also helping the district to purchase nearly $ 300,000 in exercise equipment.
