Question by Tristan F: Is it legal to start a sheet music transcription business?
Just wondering if it was legal to create a small business transcribing music/songs into sheet music that can be played on instruments. Is there a legal restriction on the songs such as copyrights? Is there someway i could put some legal conditions to avoid being sued?

if it is copyrighted music – then it’s illegal to transcribe it
