Something to think about-Which college?

Question by Rayne: Something to think about-Which college?
I had been going to a community college for about 2 years and became very unhappy with the situation. I signed up for FAFSA with that comm. college. About a week ago I changed the school code on my FAFSA [for fall of 2010] to another school, a music-related school I want to go to. I feel like I am really stuck because I am not getting the help I need at the comm. college. I just found out how much more I have to pay through loans at the music school-some of their classes are not covered by financial aid and I have to get loans for the remaining 17,000 I have to pay-which I do not want to pay because I don’t want to be strapped down with loans.
At the comm. college everything was paid for and accepted by FAFSA-but I just did not get the help I needed there-in terms of having a learning delay.
So my question/issue is- do I stay at the comm. college and take something I don’t even want and not get the help I need, even though everything is covered by FAFSA, or do I go to this music school, which I find more interesting, but knowing that not everything will be covered and I will need to take out a large loan?
At the music college I want to go into their Music Business Management class, but I just found out that it is not covered by FAFSA and the only way to get it covered is to take another set of classes which makes you take a recording studio class with it and 3 other studio-related classes-but that is not what I want to take.
If I chose to just take the Management class, I have to take out a loan because it is not covered by FAFSA.
Would you take out the loan and be burdened by that money just to take one management class-one night a week for half year or stay at the comm. college and not take anything you enjoy and not get the learning help you need?
Or do I try and find a music-related school that is not as much money?
In addition, I prefer working full time until I get more money. Right now I am not working and haven’t been since Feb. I lost my other job and I have been applying to places for months.
I would like to get back in the work world but as of now, with no degree, all I can get is entry level administrative/clerical stuff.

It’s just my opinion. I don’t think you should burden yourself with more loans that would take you years to repay. The college you’d prefer to attend, did you ever have a consultation with them? I think that would be a good idea. They might be able to help you with a scholarship. E.mail me and I could make you a suggestion for a job. You’d be your own boss and no one can fire you. Talk to you soon.
